Samtse Higher Secondary School

The school successfully organized its Annual Marathon as part of the Bhutan Baccalaureate Physical Area of Development, promoting fitness, endurance, and holistic well-being among students. The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of more than 500 students from classes VII to XII, along with staff members. The marathon aimed to foster a culture of healthy living, discipline, and teamwork while encouraging students to challenge their physical limits. The route was well supervised with adequate safety and hydration support. Students demonstrated strong determination and sportsmanship throughout the event. The marathon concluded with prize distribution, recognizing outstanding runners and celebrating collective participation, reinforcing the importance of physical fitness in education.
