We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the His Majesty’s Certificate of Excellence for the Academic Year 2022 award ceremony, held at Samtse Higher Secondary School. The event began with a warm reception for our esteemed Chief Guest, Dasho Dzongda, followed by the Marchang Ceremony and lighting of butter lamps. The ceremony was graced with the offering of Zhabten for His Majesty The King by all teachers and students, marking the occasion with great reverence. Dasho Dzongdag emphasized Bhutan's talent-driven progress, highlighting how our merit-based system helps us compete globally. He also noted the nation's growth from a life expectancy of 34 in 1961 to 73 today, thanks to the vision of our forefathers and monarchs. He mentioned the Gelephu Mindfulness City initiative, aimed at benefiting the youth. Principal Sir shared a mid-year report, highlighting completed activities and outlining plans for the remainder of the academic year. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the outstanding students who received His Majesty’s Certificate of Excellence for their exemplary academic achievements in 2022.
